42 ver. 1.02
i use the vcd option with a movie without altering any of the possible controllers, just drag and drop the movie select language and subtitles and hit start.
well... the final output was splited into 3 diferent .mpg files: 1) 795 mb, 2) 7.1 mb, 3) 295 mb... the problem is that only the first file was recognize by toast as VCD, for the others toast said that i must use video cd option with my multiplexer program, and rejects them.
i also tried with quicktime pro 6, to save the smallest file to .mov file which was accepted by toast but there was no audio and the movie lose a lot quality image...
Anyone knows about this problem?

I had this same issue when I was using the earlier versions of 42.
When I started using 1.5 - it stopped. Looks like that part was fixed with the update.
Now if I could just get the new finished files to burn correctly...

thanks for your answers, but... i've already tried 1.5 and had a sad experience. i tried a movie with the drag and drop to the 42 1.5 window and said "can't make 0 an integer (-1700)" maybe i done something wrong, then i trashed all 42 stuff and then reinstalled the 1.5 version, and had the same error. But i continued... and the prescanning thing keeps on going, so i get bored and press start the progress window appears but nothing happend, after 1/2 hour i get annoyed and quit the program. there was no c¡test clip or anything.
please give me a hand and tell me what i'm doing wrong.dj_yerba says: legalize it!

I have no idea if this will work for you. It involves some other tools, and may take some trial and error to get final results.
First - grab a copy of MPEGPowerTool or MPGTX. Use the "join" feature on either of the apps on the last two parts you have. This should make just one mpg of the two you have currently.
Next - look for a copy of VCDTools. This app lets you make .bin/.cue files for VCD burning, or .img files for SVCD. Take your new one part .mpg, and create the type of file you need and go from there.
may not be the most elegant solution, but just may do the trick for you.
