  1. Can someone please explain how to use the TMPGEnc Plus Encoder ? I
    downloaded it but don't know how to use it. I want to burn some MPEG 2
    cartoons for my kids and put them onto SVCDs.

    I appreciate any help.

    Are you capturing the clips or converting from dvd?
    I guess you're capturing right?

    I believe the free download was unlimited mpeg1 support but only 30 days for mpeg2.
    Well worth the pruchase price, IMO.

    I think that 2.56 was the best release. 2.53 can have its MPEG2 encoding extended indefinately by a simple registry hack and 12a has full free MPEG2 coding but runs at about 75% of the speed of the later versions.
