Need help authoring SVCD with Nero please

I burned my first successful SVCD with Nero today (after trashing 3 disks). However, it created a single chapter disk with no ability to skip tracks (chapters). I followed instructions described in the help section of this website and copied the scandata.dat file in the proper directory but that did not help. I created the MPEG-2 file using the Pinnacle Studio software from a miniDV tape. Any help greatly appreciated.

what how to did you follow?

you be better off burning and authoring with vcdeasy or tscv

i read (no positive) nero will only allow menu and not chapters some one with more know how will say for sure.
