  1. I've ripped a few dvds using this guide...https://www.videohelp.com/sefy/?id=ClassicalGuide.html. The first few svcds were really good but the ones that I have done lately have picture breakup(looks like little annoying glitches that pop up every few minutes). Any suggestions?
    Thanks

  2. I had a similar problem it stuttered/glitched every few seconds. There are two things you can try

    1. Make sure your dvd player can handle the bitrate that you encoded.
    2. Try changing the bottom field b to top field a.

Changing the field order worked for me. I saw it in another post so I tried it and it worked

    Good luck

  3. Here's what I have figured out. I had been using sti cdrs(which I bought very cheap) and they worked with no problems. I began to have problems when I began using Phillips cdrs. I also noticed that the svcds that I had problems with on my apex 1100 work fine on my friends mintek player. Any suggestions and what cdrs do you recommend?
    Thanks again!

  4. I have heard that some machines don't like the cd-rs that have a slight blue or green color to them.

My suggestion is to read about your dvd player in the "dvd palayer compatibility" chart look left there is a link.

    Hope this helps
