Another FFmpegx question for major, sorry

Backing up a DVD. Used OSEX to generate VOB file, file plays fine in Vic. To big to burn so using bonkers tutorial I set up FFmpegx to lower the bit rate which I got from Mr Bitbudget.
When the file is encoding the film is very small ie about 1/4 the size(screen size), file size is also small 1gb.
I haven't touched any of the other settings just used Hi-bitrate DVD (PAL) and I input the new bitrate 4551.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

"Very small" is a bit vague, could you check with the "Info" tool the exact size of the movie?

I tried it again and it seems to be running okay now?? I'll encode the entire movie today and let you know how it turned out. The info gave the proper sizes, so here goes.
