  1. Im following this guide to capture a frame of a movie so I can author it putting a "Disc change" image using photoshop7. But when I push the "Print Screen" button like it says in the guide to capture it to a clipboard, it does nothing. So I looked through the forums and read that I can use PowerDVD to capture the frame. I tried it and it still does nothing. Can anyone please help me?? What other ways can I capture a frame to be able to load it in adobe photoshop?? Thanks for any help!!!!!

If it is MPEG-1, and you are able to load it into Virtual Dub, the
Video-->Copy Source frame to clipboard works.
    Hello.

  4. I've heard that if you change your video card output to non hardware accelaterated (turn all hardware accelateration off) it will be running in sofware mode and images can be captured.

To do this go into Display Properties, Advanced, Troubleshooting. move slider to None (Hardware acceleration).

Don't forget to change it back when your done capturing. I just tried it and it works.

Oh by the way just play using WMP and stop the playback, then hit Printscreen, go to a graphics app and paste.
Actually on my Nvidia card system it works with hardware accelateration on also!
