I've now given up on Ulead Movie Factory 2. I just can't get around the out-of-sync audio problem.
I have instead put my efforts on SpruceUP. Looks simple and reasonably nice.
Unfortunately there are issues with this program too (of course), and I thought maybe someone could shed some light on the matter.
What happens is that SpruceUP just wont import some mgp-1 file.
God knows why.
They work like a charm with other authoring programs like
DVDit! or Sonic MyDVD.
Anyway, if I demultiplex these mpg-1 files into m1v and mpa with TMPGEnc, SpruceUP will accept and import them with no complaints (?).
So far so good, right?
Wrong!
The resulting DVD works in all aspects, including the audio which is in perfect sync; but I do get a jerky picture disturbance right on the bottom line of the picture. It's a bit difficult to explain, particularly in English
(not my native language).
Anyway, this flicker is constant throughout the whole movie.
If anyone has incurred in this, or has a suggestion as what I could do to sort this out, I would be very grateful.
Thank you,
TheLarch

Hi guys,
I had the same problem see
https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=142961&highlight=
No 1 helped me so i spent a few hours messing and this worked.
Using Tmpgenc i re encoded my original mpg file using the DVD template, then spruce up didnt give me the wobbly picture at the bottom.
Hope this helps.Cheers
