I'm having the same problem when I created my first SVCD. Anyone know a solution? I used DVD2SVCD to create the BIN and then used VCDEasy to burn the BIN to a CD-R. Everything reportedly went fine, and the MPEG of the BIN plays fine, just not the final product on CD-R. Any thoughts/ideas/etc.? I can't seem to find much of a solution on this.

Remember, this was my first SVCD, and I shouldn't have tried to take the easy way out by only reading MOST of the help stuff.
Turns out that these SVCDs that I created work fine in my computer's DVD-ROM drive using PowerDVD, but it does not work well at all when playing it in my CD-RW drive, even using PowerDVD. These were burned at 40x, so I'll try it at 2x or 4x next time around and just deal with the extra time. I guess that could be the issue? I do think it's interesting that the MPEG-2 files play just fine, even when copied to a CD-R.
Oh, well...it works! And my next standalone DVD player purchase will be with the specific criteria of supporting SVCD (and hopefully VCD). Let's just hope I don't end up with media issues!
