How do I change MPEG to MPEG-1

How do I change MPEG to MPEG-1 please help, I know im a big newb at doing thing's so if you do know a way please give full details thanx.

hmmm. Can you clarify what you mean by MPEG & MPEG-1

by MPEG-1, do you mean "VCD compliant MPEG" ?
by MPEG, do you mean sometype of movie with ".mpg" extension of miscellaneous origin, eg: via email, downlaoded from net ?

ok, the file type says MPEG video/audio stream I need it to be MPEG-1 so I could put it on a VCD.

Get TMPGEnc, load the VCD template. Drag the MPEG file to the middle of the screen, and hit Start.
(You might need to change the output file's name too)
