Hope this is an easy one to answer. I've upgraded to Win2K,
and downloaded and installed all the latest drivers for the Radeon, inc. MMC7.1 and the Video Capture Service Pack add-on for DirectX 8a for Win2K, but when I click "Capture AVI" in Virtual Dub, "no capture driver detected" appears and it quits! Does anyone have any ideas. (I've upgraded to Win2K to get past the 4Gig file restriction, as I need to grab an hour of video at a time, and with Huffys codec, it quits out at 25mins!) Any help would be great!
Cheers!

look on the virtualdub.org website then click on news and look under 08/03/01. it talks about adjusting your registry.
i've never tried doing this, but will try it myself soon. currently i have other problems with compressing using virtualdub...it freezes and then crashes my computer whenever i compress mpeg to divx. but that's my problem, i've found that the people here are useless and are more than willing to read your post but not make any suggestions. -
Thanks "almostaborted" !!! I'll give it a go and see what happens. I thought about using Virtual Dubs overspill facility, but don't know how reliable it is! Oh well, on with the testing! Cheers!
