Hello all,

Ok - yes I am a newbie - but hoping I am not sounding like a complete tw*t..

I have created a Video (using MGI VideoWave 4) which I want to distribute to potential clients. It would have to play on any computer that most people could be expected to be running in their homes. (Definiately Windows ideally Mac too) and not require the viewer to go through a lengthy set-up process. Ideally stick the CD into the drive and it auto-plays in full screen mode (or at least about 3/4 full screen) without appearing to be in any viewer. It is only about 6 mins long with stereo sound and I'd like it to be in as high a quality as possible. The Video software can encode the movie into AVI, MPEG1 or 2, DV, WMV(multiple types),Real Video and Video PC.

Is there a package (ideally free or quite cheap) that can 'publish' this for me? Also if I settle for MPEG 1 is there an ideal bitrate for reading from a CD (It appears to be about 1150kb/sec Video but I can't be sure).

Many thanks in anticipation!!
