If any of you have downloaded a movie from Morpheus, you know that they are mostley in AVI format because of the smaller files size. When I reencode these to mpeg-1 using TMPGENC, I get.....you guessed it, Macroblocks. However, I've also downloaded movies already in mpeg-1 format and those videos seem to be high quality, the same as there AVI counterparts. I've tried every setting imaginable on TMPGENC with no luck. How are these guys getting such good quality?
