    Vdub says in file information that audio type is unknown (tag 0055). What kind is that?

    Not sure, but it may well be AC3. "Save WAV" as direct stream, then rename to ???.ac3 Try opening/converting to WAV with headac3e

    0x0055 is "ISO/MPEG Layer3", or MP3 as it's more commonly known.

    Yea, I finally figured out that the audio is mp3. Thanks for the help. I've had trouble with my codecs - especially with getting xvid to work with vdub and tmpgenc. I'm just gonna remove everything and just install what I need.
