    Could anyone explain what the "Normalize" function in TMPGEnc's audio effect does. (in terms a simplton can understand LOL)
    Am I correct that it sets the overall audio level to a ? standardized reference, for example I have three vids to encode and each has a different audio level if I use the normalize function will it attempt to bring all three to the same level after encoding?

    Yes,just like any other audio normalizer.90% is a good number to try.
