  1. I did a little bit of searching and found something out.
It seems that the latest PVR software on the Leadtek website is dated 1/9/2003 which included the latest drivers.

This version had a broken EPG and limited resolutions

I was hunting around today and went to their FTP site and after backing out to the main FTP directory, found a NEWER version of their PVR software (2/6/2003)

Not only did they fix the EPG functionality, but they also added the 1/2 D1 resolution (352x480) I just captured at this res with 2300VBR and 48khz mpeg sound. I stopped it after 46 minutes and verified there was no audio drift.
I threw it into DVDmovefactory2 and proceeded to create my DVD folders with NO REENCODING of audio or video. Only took 60 seconds to create the VOB file. I am burning it to DVD now to verify it plays on the TV, but so far so good....(this only took 29% of my CPU resources also)

Link for new PVR software below.

    good luck

  4. bamafamily,

Thanks for posting this. I have been having problems with reoccuring scheduled recordings not recording. I just installed this and I hope this fixes my issue.

    Thanks again.

  6. Well, the new version does not solve my problem. But I think I have it nailed down. When recording a reoccuring event, it will not record if the pvr software is closed. If I leve it open and running then it records fine. I bet it has something to do with how long it takes to load. Maybe they don't allow enough time before it is loaded to start recording. So the start time has passed by the time it is loaded.

I even went so far as to uninstall, remove the install directory and delete the registry, then reinstall. Still will not record if the pvr software is closed.

BTW one time recordings do work even when the pvr is closed.

    Anyone else notice this?
