Hi i got a film on avi file, and i need to extract a 44hz wav files before i make a vcd, but it keeps saying missing compressors, this is the first time this has happened.
this film has some wierd codecs, divx wouldnt work, i had to dowload these differnt ones.
so i need to know where i can get extra codecs/compressors for virtual dub. Im at uni atm, when i get home, ill post teh names of those codecs.

hi the audio codec used on the avil film is
ac3 (0x2000) "Dolby Laboratories, Inc" -
That has ac3 (dolby digital) sound. You will need to save it as a wav file using direct stream copy. Rename it as ac3. Then use headac3he to convert to a 2 channel wav file.
