First Post, I captured a movie from TV in 3 parts (using all the same settings) and edited out the commercials in Quicktime. Each file is about 5 GB and then i used Mencoder OS X to create 3 very nice looking Xvid files. I have tried to join the files in XP using AVI join, AVI-MPEG-RM Joiner and Vdub but i get an error in Vdub and the other two progs give me inverted video, has anybody else had this problem joining Xvid AVI's?
Also is there a native OSX solution to joining(without re-encoding the file)? I really want to get the raw files off of my HD but i can't figure out why the joined AVI is upside down.
