Leadtek Winfast 2000XP Deluxe and Stereo

I notice when I watch tv I see the Little Stereo Icon in Winfast PVR but when I start recording it disappears. But while recording if I change the channel then the the stereo icon re-appears. When I play back the tv show that I recorded it doesn't have the stereo icon. How do I know if I am recording in stereo?

Ok, I have tested a little more and I am positive . When I start recording a tv show, the stereo gets turned off. The only way to turn it back on is the way I mentioned above. This is annoying. Does any body else have this problem?

I have this annoying little problem to, has to be just a bug in the Winfast PVR software.

This is how I get around it (and with the remote too
Before I hit record, I hit the MTS button on the remote twice.. changing it to MONO and then back to STEREO. After doing this when u hit record it stays STEREO (stereo symbol does'nt disappear either)

I guessI'll hook up my remote and give that a try. I sent leadtek an e-mail about this but haven't heard anything from them yet.
