dont know about everybody else but since the release of dvd2one, makeiteasy and now instantcopy all the satisfaction as gone of taking a dvd9 and reproducing it yourself to a dvd5 with all kinds of programs.
giving yourself a pat on the back for a good job, and even enjoying the film more knowing you did it all by yourself.
im not knocking the programs cause i use them.
maybe im just bored and need a new hobby.

Yeah man, I hear ya.
Now any "Joe Shmoe" with a DVD burner can copy DVD's with those programs. It kind of takes the fun and intrigue out of it. On the other hand...It sure does save a lot of time.
I am just glad I got into this before all these new "one touch solutions" came out. Because now I understand the structure of a DVD, even how to author my own.
Anyway, whichever flavor of program you use...just enjoy the flicks! That's why we are doing all of this work in the first place. -
My new hobby.....I bought a Canopus ADVC 100 to capture all those old tapes to dvdr. 4~8 hr encodes with tmpgenc seem very familiar
Movie only DVD9 to DVDR guide.
