hello,
i'm capturing from my panasonic dv cam via firewire using adobe premiere 6.
so, after it finished, i have the video on my harddrive in MS DV Codec.
but the problem is, that i get a "shifted" effect when i have fast camera movements.
is this a capturing problem or a codec problem?
is it possible to use another codec when capturing via firewire?
here is a sample:

It's because you are looking at an interlaced image on your computer monitor. Premiere does not de-interlace the image when shown on your computer monitor so anything with movement will show visable interlace lines. There is nothing wrong with the picture. The video will look normal on a regular TV screen. (When exported back out to DV or DVD.)

ok, but i want to produce an mpeg or avi(divX) to be viewed on computers only.
is there any way for a workaround?
