I have a DVD that I want to copy that is only 4.34 GB (that's the entire disc, extras and all). I copied the movie's VIDEO_TS folder directly from the disc to my HD and then tried to burn it with Prassi PrimoDVD. I've been trying to burn it for like 2 days. Everytime I try, I get and error message from Windows that the program has to close because of some problem. It must be the folder, cuz I'm burning a another DVD right now and it's going fine. What am I doing wrong?

Is it a commercial dvd? Then you must probably rip it first. www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdripping

Earlier today, I ripped the files from the DVD and tried to burn it with Prassi and Nero and it didn't work. Any suggestions?

are you burning the VIDEO_TS folder with Nero as a simple DATA DVD or are you burning the VOB files in it as a VIDEO DVD?

there are 2 ways of burning the DVD... copy the whole VIDEO_TS folder as it is... and make a VIDEO DVD by choosing it at Nero and burning the DVD by SELECTING the VOB files

I know how to do that. I've made movies before. This one particular time I tried to do it, the folder wouldn't burn in either program.
