  1. I have 3 mpg that I extracted from bin files and they play nice on my MAC, I would like to combine them in one big mpg and then burn on dvd so I can watch on my dvd player, but I can not import them in any software I have, example:

    dvd studio pro
    final cut pro
    idvd3

So, Im wondering which software do I need in order to combine these mpgs into one file and also which software will make VOB files out of them so i can burn as dvd

    Thanks,
    Salud

You have to make the mpg files into a format that your programs can use, specifially say dvd studio pro (like m2v for example) the easiest way to do this is with ffmpegx

just open the souce set the settings to mpeg2 output and let it run

this is after you combine your 3 mpg files into one large one, using say missing media tools.

once you have it into a mpeg2 file format, it should import into your programs

    hope this helps you some
