Is there a quick method of cutting bits out of an AVI file, such as the credits at the end of a movie.
If I try to do it in Premiere, it has to go through and render the whole movie again, which can take hours, when all I want to do is cut a few seconds off !

Hi - I'm sure I remeber someone on here saying that it is possible with VirtualDub, without having to re-encode...

Worked a treat, thanks for the info.
The nice thing about it, is that it doesn't take up much CPU time either. Typically 6-10%
