What are the options for software playing already made SVCDs with a standard CD-R/RW drive on a Macintosh?

rip the mpeg2 stream and the audio stream, install DVD Studio Pro, import them into one track and hit the preview button. If you have a fast Mac, it works wonderfull. I am creating all my DVD backups which are larger than 4,7 Gig this way and I also played SVCD Mpeg2 streams this way.
