Hey,
Heres the problem, I'm new to this board but i've been reading other posts, and I still need help.
I have a regular 29.1 MB movie file, but when i add a logo using VDub, and go to File>Save As AVI..
It saves the file to a 2 GB movie???!?! Can someone help me out why it saves the file so big?

Your movie is a DIVX isn't it?
You're saving it out as a regular uncompressed AVI.
DIVX is a high compression codec. Enough said there.
I'd suggest, if you're going to convert it to mpeg, just using the filter to add the logo and frameserve direct to your encoder.
If you're trying to leave it as a DIVX, you're going to have to re-encode it after adding the logo so select the 'compression' tab under 'video' and pick your codec.
Hope this helps,

Logos are useless. At first it seems like a good idea branding all your movies, showing off and all but people who download those movies get annoyed and then pissed at watching that stupid logo.

What I wish some nice person would tell me is, How do you add logos in virtual dub , Perhaps macadcwk would be kind enough to e-mail me with a brief 'How To' Cheers...
