I use nero to burn my vcds.. anytime i want to burn the movie with a menu.. it doesnt always look that great. I was wondering if there was a website that hosted images you could use for optimal appearance for background images of a vcd menu.
thanks for any feedback.

I also use Nero to burn VCDs. I assume that you have enabled menus while creating VCD. I am replying from my office and I don't have Nero here; else I would have pasted screen shots.
In the tab for Menus, check the 'Enable Menus' on. For backgorund pictures, you must first get a picture. I usually play the VOB or MPG file using the PowerDVD and freeze (pause) the frame which I intend to use as the background. A "camera" icon allows me to capture the frame to clipboard. I save this as a BMP using MS-Paint.
Once the BMP is saved, Nero allows me to use the above BMP as the background. The image can be "streched to fill", "shrunk to fit" or "tiled". These options are on Nero itself.*** My computer can beat me at chess, but is no match when it comes to kick-boxing. ***
