I have completed using TMPGENc 2.6 to create MPEGII Compliant standard MPG files.... which authoring softwares will allow me to make into a DVD which can be playable onto any standalone box. I tried a few demo but they want to reencode the MPEG file again in spite of putting a check box in there saying that.... "hey it is already compliant". What can I do... any softwares that will allow me to author it without this reencoding. I feel that this DVD thing is still not standard and every company has their own ways of doing things as I can see. suggestions ? The MPG file is just like an MPG only. Do I need to split it up to audio and video alone and then author it ?

I use ulead DVD workshop, this does not reencode if the video is DVD compliant. Did you use a DVD template in TMPGEnc.
