I change my avatar every now and then with different movies. I also change my member status and Quote to reflect the current movie. If you don't know the current picture is from Evil Dead 2. My previous picture was of Dead Alive, or Braindead for ya'll across the ocean.
So why did you choose yours?

Mine is simply a shot of me at (around) the age of five.
Things were much simpler then, my biggest worry was why I could never have the ice-cream with the cadbury's flake in it, rather than *just* an ice-cream
Willtgpo, my real dad, told me to make a maximum of 5,806 posts on vcdhelp.com in one lifetime. So I have. -
I was nicknamed chewie by my friends, and it just sort of stuck. I am quite a large bloke (6'2" and 16 stone), and at the time had a beard. I went in quite hard on someone whilst playing football (soccer) and he said it was like being tackled by Chewbacca off Star Wars.

mine's a nice little interpretation of my favorite character from my favorite old school RPG--final fantasy.(too bad the graphics weren't half that good on the original game for NES)
what are you askin' me for...
I'm an idiot! -
ok - mine is from some old coworkers. One had a "Cat a Day" calendar and they thought one stupid looking cat looked like me.
The pic is NOT from that calendar but from a random cat pic on the Net. We have English Springer Spaniels in the house and I have ALOT more brains than that
Cheers to my one fan Musty_Hustla for touting me in the moderator thread.Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin' -
Craig Tucker, can you convert "16 stone" for us not in the UK?
I got my name from an old girlfriend who got mad at me one day and said"your like that MOVIEGEEK Roger Ebert"because I sometimes quote lines from movies and she didn't have a clue.
My avatar is just one of my heros. -
14 pounds in a stone so 16 stone = 224 pounds or 101.8kg

It's just a joke, I used to have a web page that said nothing but "I'm a monkey!" in large type because somebody commented on the fact that I didn't have one. In the past I've also tried to find the most revolting, sickening pictures I can and used those as pictures of me when people asked. I think one of the better reactions I got was "that is the LAST time i EVER look at a link you post".
The name "sterno" started out as a joke back when I was playing way too much network Quake. People would have these silly, generic names like "killer", "assassin", etc., so I pulled sterno out of the air (if you don't know, Sterno is a name brand for "canned heat" used in campstoves and so forth). Plus it was easy to type, and there weren't any other sternos out there. Unfortunately, the joke was lost on almost everybody because not too many Quake players know what a sterno stove is.
Since we're sharing, I think I still weigh around 115lbs (~52kg, for those of you in the metric world). So Craig Tucker is almost like two of me.... -
Everyone on the net is always bitchin and crying so I figured I'd join them.

I was really interested in poison tree frogs, after a friend of mine caught some in the mountain. They're very illegal (more than just regular illegal
) in Hawaii, but you can bring them to the mainland, if you catch them. A way to get some of the population off the island, I suppose.
Anyway, I found a picture, cropped it and I've been using it ever since. I'll probably change it when something else piques my interest. -
The Acorn Electron was the first computer I ever had.
The Electron was developed by Acorn during 1983, with the aim of releasing it in time for the Christmas rush. In terms of hardware it was similar to the Beeb, and used the same processor, the 6502A, operating system and BASIC variant (BBC BASIC II). However, much of the functionality of the Electron was contained in a single ULA, thus cutting down manufacturing costs. The other main difference between the BBC Micro and the Electron was that the Electron did not have the extra circuitry to display the Beeb's teletext mode. There were also a number of other hardware differences.
Although the basic Electron only came with six ports (power supply in, TV out, video out, RGB monitor out, cassette interface and expansion connector) it was relatively easy to expand, mainly due to Acorn's Plus 1 and Plus 3 add-ons. The Plus 1 plugged in to the expansion connector and added two cartridge slots, a printer interface and the ability to add extra ROMs to the system. The Plus 3 was a complete 3.5" disc drive system that also plugged directly in to the expansion slot. A Plus 1 could then be added using an expansion slot on the back of the Plus 3. This device also came with an uprated power supply unit, to cope with the extra demands made by the floppy drive. Even after the original Plus 1 and Plus 3 were no longer available, a number of other companies, particularly Slogger and PRES, were still manufacturing peripherals that made use of the expansion connector.
In the end, however, the ULA took too long to develop, and the Electron was released too late to take full advantage of Christmas 1983. By Christmas 1984, the Electron has been largely superseded, and it never enjoyed the popularity of its larger brother.

I know you've explained it before. If I remember correctly the shirt the person is wearing says something like "Demolitions Expert, if you see me running, follow me" Or something like that.
