  2. Good to hear about the patch I'm at work now so can someone tell me if this fixes the Multicopy.exe error that some backups are getting during the transcode?

I have the retail version of InstantCopy and Daemon tools. The update went without a hitch...it's working fine so is Daemon Tools.

pinnacle doesn't seem to care about the U.S. even though the stores have ic7 and instantcd/dvd in stock. their is no US support for ic7.and i been trying to get instantcd/dvd 7 from them (they promise me the new version 3 months ago. i have the old version) and they said i could get it if i register to special condition, but i couldn't find that on their website and i only got 1 e-mail response from vob or pinnacle in the past two months even though i wrote to them numerous times.

Thats not surprising since IC seems to be derived from VOB's Instant CD/DVD software. It looks like it was written by the Germans.

If so, it's understandable that they woulden't have U.S. customers at the top of their list.

  11. I've been using InstantCopy 7 since I got my new system. Now all I need is an Athlon XP 2200+. Right now it's got a 1 ghz Athlon cpu with 512 megs of PC3500 DDR RAM and an ATI Radeon 64 meg DDR graphics card. A new CPU and I should be all set. But using InstantCopy it takes about 2 1/2 hours for 1 movie. However, the results are really good. :P

  14. instant copy is perfect! i copied lots of dvd movies already, the picture quality are almost the same with the original and the menus are copied as well but you need to ripped it with decrypter first if you got >4.7 gigs to copy! copying time are less if your connection is firewire!

do anybody know what this patch do? i not going to upgade unless i know what i'm upgrading. the last patch changed my 35 minute burns to 50 min (it now automatically write a disc image, instead of writing straight to disc on movies that the video slider is set to 100% and is still under 4.7 gigs ) see https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/147636.php. i guess it did that because people were getting errors writing straight to disc (though not me though), so it makes a temp image on all projects now

  17. Does the registry patch work with the IC 7.1 release?
I'm running 7.0.1.1 with the patch now. Can I just run the instantcopy_update.exe?

    Thanks

  18. Getting dizzy here!

Wondering if the 7.02 link is on the "Europe" site because if you drill down thought the links starting at www.pinnaclesys.com all you see is the older 7.01 update.

    Oh well!
