need help with ulead movie factory 2

I need help with ulead movie factory 2.
Im a newbie im try for the easyest way 2 put my downloaded files on dvd.
My problem is what ever film i try to import (2 x files)it always goes over 4.7gb so it wont go on a disc.
Problem 2 is it will only let me burn on 4.4gb of my disc,but they r 4.7gb disc i dont get it.
ie....I downloaded 8-mile when i drag the file on movie factory 2 it brings it up as 9.3gb..........that cant b right.
Any help plz.
