  1. Hi there,
I want to create my OWN menu which can link to 2 movies, I have authored 2 title sets (2 movies) which are in VOBs (I have to keep 2 sets of subtitles inside). Is there any authoring program which allows me to import VOB. DVDit only accepts M2V and Mpeg, whereas Ulead DVD Workshop only accepts Mpeg. Thanks in advance!

  2. DVD Movie Factory 2 lets you important all DVD files including VOBs. I do not understand why Movie Factory 2 does and DVD Workshop doesn't.

This program does and it's easy to link two or more VOB files into a single movie.

  5. DVD architect from Sonic Foundry will accept .vobs however you must first demux the .ac3 file you want and use that as the sound file.

DVD architect will then recompile it back to the origingal. You can create menus with chapter thumbnails by using the .vob. I haven't tried using it for a full movie yet only music and slideshow compilations. However, I find that Sonic Foundry has come up with an excellent authoring program.
