Ati All In Wonder 7500 and sound on one side

For some reason all the sound from my ati applications are only coming out on one side of my speakers, even though other applications the sound comes out of all of them. HAs this happened to anyone ?

If "ati applications" means the TV Tuner/Capture program, it sounds like it may be that the cable, from the video card to the sound card is not plugged in all the way at the sound card end, or the socket you are plugging it into (on your sound card) does not support stereo. I suggest you reseat that cable, especially at the sound card end. Additionally, check the mixer, the balance for the line in and make sure it is centered and not all the way to one side or the other.

the hardware is right. for some reason it plays only in all four speakers only during tv on demand. Do I need to reinstall the program ?

The same thing happened to me once on my AIW 7500 card. What I did is go into the volume settings of my sound card and move the balance arrow left and right and after I did that I got sound out of both speakers. What's strange is that the balance was already in the middle setting but I guess it must be some kind of bug. I've had to do that a couple of times but luckily it's no longer happening.
