  1. Im backing up Mean Machine (pal).It's 5.36gb in size,theres no extras on the disc,just a still menu thats about 1mb.So i thought i would make a full back up of it.
    I used dvd decrypter to copy all the files to a temp folder,i re-encoded the movie,i then used ifoedit ,i loaded the vts_01_0.ifo,then selected VOB Extras.

    I Ticked re-mux,correct vob-units,correct ifo tables with new vob-unit info.
    Under VOB file options i left ticked what was default.
    I then let ifoedit do its thing and out put the new set of vobs.I then coped the rest of the files(video_ts* and vts_01_0.vob) to the directory that the new vobs where in.

    I then loaded the video_ts.ifo and clicked region free then saved it.Next i load any ifo's that where in the folder and clicked get vts sectors.

    But this is the problem.I used Power DVD to test it, it starts off ok,menu is there(only a still menu) but the film starts jerky and then the film just hangs.if i skip it forward to a chapter the video comes up then hangs.

    When i tested the new re-encoded m2v file before remuxing it in it played fine.

    Please can some one help me out here ??

  2. Sounds like the majority of what u are doing looks fine. I re-encode differently using ReMPEG2 and it works good, here's link for ya;

    http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/parttrans.html (just look at encoding parts with ReMPEG2)

    Anoher though is why are u copying over the original vts_01_0.vob, IFOedit should be creating a new one with the corrected pointers. If that file is there I would leave it and just copy over the video_ts* files.
