I have been sampling trying to use DVD architect to turn some SVCD files I have into DVD's but have run into a problem.
I try and import the SVCD file into the project, but have noticed that on the MPEG2 summary info , it gives the Video length as 34mins 44s but the Audio length is 43m 26s (the correct length).
Why the discrepancy? When I play these file in the preview window the video moves slightly faster thean the audio , causing it to lose sync in seconds.
All of the SVCD's I have do this, except just one. I can't really tell what special properties this SVCD has but it's the only one that will preview correctly, and has the Audio and Video times match.
All these SVCDs burn properly and all play fine using any other Media player /editor.
By a bizzare twist, M2 edit pro 5 refused to load the one SVCD file that worked in DVD Architect, yet loaded all the ones that had the A/V problem without complaining.
What is going on here?
