    hi guys its me again
    i have been trying to open up an xvid avi file with virturaldub but it keeps telling me it can't find the decompressor. i have got all the programs needed but don't know just which one to use or how to install it in to virtualdub. pls help

    Does the xvid avi play in windows media player? If it dont, you have not got the xvid codec installed. If the codec is installed you should not have a problem opening it in V Dub.

    no i can't play them in media player where do i get the code and how do i install it

  4. u need xvid installed and a codec called: ac3codec.zip then u should be able to play it.
