  1. I need to convert a file but it has a 14.976 fps rate. Every time I try to convert it the audio is choppy. I usually convert all files to 23 fps. I've look for answers all over this forum with no success. Can anyone tell me how to convert it so it can be played on a DVD/VCD player. I know it can be done because I know someone who does it all the time but I havent talked to him in ages. If I convert it to 15fps(internally 30 fps) would it play retarted on my computer and good on my DVD player? Because I dont want to waste a disc if it doesn't work. Also could I recode the avi to a 23.976 avi before converting it to mpeg.

    When you change the framerate of a file with Premiere, your output will come out very good looking without any choppiness or off-sync problems. :P

    To change the frame rate of a clip in the Timeline without changing the speed of action:

    1. Select a clip in the Timeline, and choose Clip > Video Options > Frame Hold.

    2 In the Clip Frame Rate section, select Alternate Rate and type a new frame rate.

    3. Click on File.

    4. Export Timeline -> Movie.

    5. Make sure you click on Settings and select the codec you want and etc..

    Hope That Helps!!! :P
