Is it possible to author a DVD where there are two MPEG clips of 60-90 minutes apiece, but two sets of menus with different chapter points?
Example:
Two 90-minute porn videos get captured from VHS as 2800 kBit VBR MPEG-2 @ 1/2 DV-1 resolution w/224kbit MP2 audio; total length is well under 4 gigs.
Video 1 shows up in the menu as tracks 1 and 3. Video 2 shows up in the menu as tracks 2 and 4.
Tracks 1 and 2 have chapter points set at scene breaks
Tracks 3 and 4 have chapter points set right at "the good parts"![]()
The actual playing path through each video is unchanged... only the point where the player jumps to when the next/previous keys on the remote are pressed differs between tracks 1 & 3 and 2 & 4.
And, of course... the bigger question: are there any low-end (read: cheap) products that actually permit the creation of such discs?
