    When encoding a movie using TMPGE2.58 can you use your computer to do other things? Or will this mess up the movie?

    It won't mess up the movie at all. It may slow your computer down a bit depending on the priority you give TMPG.

    Set the priority's on normal or idle if you plan on using the computer to do other things while encoding.
