i encodeed a film with cinema craft encoder but the finished mv2 file has no sound? is ther any way to add the sound to it without re-encodeing?
i was t6hinking ov a arthuering prog might do it?

Umm, since you're getting an .m2v file, I can only assume that you have the ES box checked (elementary stream). If you want audio, then have your PS box checked (program stream), then you'll have an output of an .mpg file, which will of course have the audio and video you're looking for. You can even go into your audio settings and choose the bitrates.
Fair warning, everybody seems to think that CCE audio encoder isn't the best thing out there. If the source is VHS, then the audio isn't that big of an issue for me personally.....

what you could do, using TMPGENC is to mux the audio back in. I believe that you would open TMPGENC, go to file, then tools, select simple mux the video and then select the audio (oh yea, you will need to extract the audio from the source file beforehand using a program like virtual dub).
Then basically, you'll pull the video and audio together. If you need more visual stuff, go to the guides section and there are several audio muxing guides on how to do it. -
Doesn't the CCE manual help? You'd think for $2000 you'd get a good manual...
