    Hi I'm currently downloading 2 video concerts and they are two parts of one concert. It says that they are in DIVX format but I don't want them in that format.

    Anyway I just want it in .dat or mpeg or something like that so when I put my vcd in my cd-rom it will play in WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER

    Do I need to convert DIVX>.DAT/MPEG or will Windows Media Player play DIVX??

    That doesnt help.

    Can someone tell me what I need 2 do?

    Will windows media player play DIVX/AVI files?

    yes if u download and install the newest divx codecs which u can find on google search
