  2. I have no idea what you mean when you say 'the 3d effect.' If it's on a DVD you can rip it. What exactly are you trying to do/capture?

  4. By 3D movie do you mean that you wear those 'special glasses' to see the movie in 3D or something? If it's already on a DVDR then you should be able to rip it. What exactly does the original look like, what is lost when you rip/re-author it?

    it is not to hard -- you have an active movie in 3D .. the 3D effect is that one field does one eye and the other field does the the other eye but you need to wear LCD shutter glasses to see the effect (and glasses are plugged into your PC) .. both fields together make a frame .

    there is no pulldown with this effect ..

    to capture it - you would have to exactly preserve the fields .... it would be better to rip it ...
    if you have to capture it - you have to capture in interlaced mode and not in mpeg1 .. you may have to figure it out which field is first ... as i said -- better to rip it .
