Suggestions for DVD-R media

I just bought a 2X Toshiba DVD-R and need some ideas for media. What are the best for the price? I prefer to buy spindles. I've heard some people say they are anywhere from $0.90 - $1.00 a piece.

Do they work well or are they crap?

I have yet to burn a coaster with them. Full compatibility with my panasonic, go video and toshiba stand alone players.

Accu's would be second to Ritek for me.

Do those accu's burn 2x on a pioneer dvr-105 ?

I have the Toshiba SD5002 and Ritek media works great. However, you MUST burn at 1X with Decrypter (make image with imgtools) to avoid freezing and skipping in standalone.

How much are Riteks? Where do you getthem.

I use Ritek (1X) DVD-R. I have a old promo code that http://www.atdiscount.com/ still honors. If you place an order for the (1X) Ritek DVD-R's on a 100 spindle and enter in this promo code #00231 as you proceed to order it will change you price to $0.84 a disc. I guess it's a good idea to keep old promo codes. Check it out I haven't seen a better price on Ritek media in a while.
