hi,
i use capture at a high resolution 760x480 6500kbps mpeg2 format and then encode it to SVCD format using tmpeg encoder.
in the project wizard SVCD in "expert settings for source", it displays video type as "interlace" ,does that mean that the video that i have provided is interlaced ?
should the "expert setting for source" be changed ? some have adviced me to change it to non-interlace while others have adviced me to leave it as it is.
WHAT IS INTERLACED MPEG2 ? what is it s important ?
pls reply

Easy answer if you want just for the dvd player for your t. v. leave it interlaced. If you want to watch it on your computer than you want to de-interlace. De-interlace will play on both computer and t. v. fine with just a little loss in quality for the t.v. compared to interlace for the t. v.
