    I'm ready for the poll

  2. I have noticed there are quite a few Looney Tunes fans here, so I think we need a poll on:

Who is your favorite Looney Tunes cartoon character?

    1. Bugs Bunny
    2. Daffy Duck
    3. Porky Pig
    4. Elmer Fudd
    5. Sylvester
    6. Tweety
    7. Marvin the Martian
    8. Taz
    9. Wile E. Coyote
    10. Road Runner
    11. Foghorn Leghorn
    12. Yosemite Sam
    13. Pepé Le Pew
    14. Speedy Gonzales
    15. Other

There are a lot more characters than that, but I think they are the main ones.
I'll start by voting for Yosemite Sam "when I say whoa, I mean whoa"

Not really. There's only about 4 real fans, and the topic seems covered well enough in the Off Topic thread.

I'm sure we'd have to be scraping at the bottom of the barrel after nearly 10 years, there would have been many previous poll topics that have been covered many times over in different sections of the board but still became a poll.

I put my vote in for Daffy (exp. the OLD daffy), then Elmer, Sam, Foghorn, Pepe, Tweety, Wile E., and on down. Usually, the older the better, because they were often nuttier then.

I agree!, how about Tex Avery´s Screwy Squirrel? that was really a crazy one and more than 50 years ago!

Yeah but some new people have showed up and some others have moved on. I think that plenty of people would respond. Nothing wrong with starting a new poll like that.

  10. I was just kidding freebird. That poll was a year before I joined, so I would definitely respond.

My answer would be, "Too friggin old"

edit: Hmmm, very interesting, I just looked at the "how old are you poll" & realized if I had voted back then (I wasn't around then, some people happy bout that) & I voted again now, I would still be in the same category, 26-35, feels like time is standing still, LOL

Done and done. With credit to you and Craig Tucker who posted the poll. I made a few additions to the poll but left the original ranges intact.

  15. Recently I have come across a situation where I needed to install some antivirus software, I never felt I needed any until I brought home a virus via a public computer, anyway an antivirus poll would be nice, it would be good to see what antivirus software our members use, & weather they are satisfied with free versions such as, Avast Home, Avira Free etc

Do you donate to open source software?

Yes. The programmer(s) deserves to be rewarded for his/her effort at offering free software.

No. If I donated then it wouldn't be free anymore.

No. As much as I'd like to donate I can't because I'm broke.

Sometimes. If it is really great software then I donate at least a little bit of cash to the author.

Other? I donate time, testing, etc....

always fun to revisit this topic:

Do you still play your physical audio cds? Or do you still have any? (ie do you only store them and play on an mp3 player or buy all downloads now)
