  1. This thread went off topic into a debate on printable discs.

    Suggests a possible poll about printable media...

    Do you use printable media?
    1. Yes - I think it makes my product look more professional.
    2. Yes - I can't read my own handwriting without it.
    3. Yes - I like to make my discs pretty.
    4. No - Complete waste of money. Nobody looks at the disc anyway.
    5. No - Sharpie all the way.
    6. No - I don't need to make my discs look pretty.
    7. Sometimes - It depends on who it's for.
    8. Huh? - What's printable media?

    Entertainment Centers can be quite complicated these days. With that in mind, do you use an after-market "Universal" Remote for your Entertainment Center?

    1. Yes, exclusively.
    2. Yes, for some things.
    3. No, just the manufacturers remote(s).
    4. I don't use or need an Entertainment Center / "Universal Remote."
    5. Other. (Please explain.)

    Please share your experiences and thoughts on this subject.

    How about, 2009 Codec.

    List containers - avi, mp4, mkv, ect.

    I don't know if this has a broad enough appeal, but how about a poll on gardening?

    Do you have a vegetable garden and grow some of your own food?

    1. Yes. I have a big garden that feeds my household all year.
    2. Yes. I have a small garden that I enjoy all summer long.
    3. Yes. I grow a few tomatoes, peppers, etc. in pots on a deck/balcony.
    4. No. I have a brown thumb or don't want all the extra work.
    5. No. I don't have a place to grow anything.
    6. No. I avoid eating vegetables whenever possible.
    7. Other.

    I'd say that's doubtful.

    Why not put it up in off topic? Then those who do want to respond won't get the same brush off as they would on the main page?

    That is interesting. I might also do a spinoff of the poll for burning apps. I have a gut suspicion imgburn would win by a wide margin over products by roxio or nero
