Lot of us on this forum think that DVDMaestro is one of the most favored authoring tools.
Only thing that Maestro lacks is the ability to generate a menu back ground with thumb size images of the chapters for a quick & easy DVD authoring. And probably, a lot of us agree that this is the painful part in the whole DVD authoring process.
I was wondering if we could put together a tool to automatically generate menu background with thumb size images of the chapters.
At the minimum, the tool should do the following:
Input:
1. Accept a Jpeg/Bmp image for the Background.
2. Accept a List of MPEG or AVI files
Processing:
3. Extract first couple of frames as still image from each MPEG/AVI file.
4. Resize these still images to thumb size.
5. On the Background image (point 1), arrange the thumb size images.
Output:
6. Save this as JPEG or BMP.
Any Ideas?
