Nero wont recognize burner

I'm using A Creative "CD-RW Blaster 8432 " Burner. I have recently reformatted my harddrive and now Nero wont recognize my burner. I have downloaded the driver for the Creative burner and installed it. Nero still wont recognize it, it worked fine before the reformatt. Now what do I do, as I cant find the original disc that came with the drive, I have the original Nero disc though.

I have the same CD drive. Does windows recognize your burner? If it does then I suspect a Nero problem. If not, e-mail me and I will send you the files to get you going.

I checked it out and yes windows 98 does recognize it as it shows it under the hardware profiiles. Any ideas?

Well I got it to work, I just uninstalled the Nero version that I had and installed the newest version I could find, and viola it recognized the burner. Apparently the Nero that comes with the puter has a lot of restrctions. Thanks for you help.
