Hi,
When I back up a widescreen DVD movie, I use IfoEdit to turn the "Pan & Scan" flag on to be able to have a full screen on my full screen TV (I turn both the letterbox and pan & scan flags ON). This way, I can watch in both formats on my ful screen TV (using my DVD option to choose between letterbox and pan & scan). It works perfectly. I have read in several diffrent forums that people usually turn the letterbox flag OFF by IfoEdit to get the same result.
Now, my question is:
Is there any difference between turning the both flags OFF or the may I do it, Both flags ON? I do not have any broblem now with my JVC DVD player and full screen TV, but in the future, If I use different DVD players or widescreen TVs, would my method cause any problem?
Thanks for your help?

I have used flags OFF, but perhaps both ON is better...
