  1. OK I'm using XP SP1, dvdXcopy 1.41, and Nero 5.5.10.7. Here is the wierdness. I'll use Bourne Identity for an example. I back the DVD up using dvdXcopy, and cancel it when it asks to burn. I then use vobrater and ifoedit to pull the nag screens out, I then burn with Nero (I just step through the Wizard). This makes a great copy that plays on my set top DVD player. Only bad thing is, my computer won't read or play the dvd-r. Is this normal?

  2. What speed do you use to burn these DVD-r's?

If you are burning at 2x, try to burn one at 1x and see if it plays in your computer now!

  4. Well that's indeed a strange thing. I had it the other way: they worked on my computer and not on a Denon DVD player, but played on a Pioneer and Philips DVD Player.

It's not normal (i think) but it could be a DVD-R problem. Does this always happen with the DVD-R media you are ussing?
Or it's Nero... or something else....

I use record Now for the Burning
