  1. ok im new at this dvd authoring stuff but i have a problem. i am trying to make a dvd from a divx file. first i encoded an *.m2v file using TMPGEnc and then made a wav file using virtualdub. last i used ifoedit to author the dvd to my VIDEO_TS folder. the problem is when i go to burn using nero, my VIDEO_TS folder is way to big to fit on the dvd. so is there anyway i can make this smallercuz i need this to fit on the dvd+r.

the m2v file is 3.86 gigs
the wav file is 1.08 gigs
and the video_ts folder is 5.05 gigs
    thanks

  2. Transcode the video using TMPG/ReMPEG/CCE, you just put the bitrate to high which will give a larger file size

  3. Try to convert WAV file to ac3 with Besweet.

Or convert the wav to mp2 with besweet, tmpgenc, toolame.

    DVD WAV(48khz) is about 12 mb/minute while mp2,ac3 is about 2-4 mb/minute.
